In partnership with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
In celebration of our Bluffs to Great Lakes Shores Campaign, we are offering several exciting events. These events will provide you with a unique experience in the field and an opportunity to support this important Campaign.
Experience the exclusive opportunity to get up close with one of Wisconsin’s iconic wildlife species. Join Department of Natural Resources research scientists in the field as they capture and collar white-tailed deer* and collect data as part of their research on deer population health and Chronic Wasting Disease. The trip will run from the late afternoon through the early evening in February 2020, in the Dodgeville area (the trip date will be weather dependent and the date and specific time will be confirmed prior to the trip). Space is limited to 4 participants. The Foundation will be taking reservations between August-December 2019. Cost = $500/person. *Please note that while we hope for success, this trip involves work with wildlife and the successful capture of white-tailed deer is not guaranteed.
